Homelessness affects all communities and has many causes. Many individual programs have been created to address food insecurity, housing needs, domestic violence, healthcare, and other issues within the homeless population.

The Homeless Know More Initiative was founded as a way to compile the resources already available and provide individuals and grassroots organizations a connection, so that together we can help individuals in need accomplish their goals to become homeless no more.

552,830 Homeless People in the United States

According to the most recent data as presented to Congress in January 2018 in the HUD's 2018 Annual Homelessness Assessment Report to Congress (AHAR).

There is currently no compiled data on the resources or services available for the 552,830 homeless people in the United States.

There is also no aggregated database to disseminate the information about the resources available, donation and volunteer opportunities, and services provided.

A solution is required to connect those who want to help with those who need it. Our solution is to provide a platform to collect and curate a library of resources for the homeless, for volunteers, for donors, for organizations, and for legislators looking to help make their communities homeless no more.
